The new DataPort 1U Storage Rack supports four 3.5" SATA hard drives; two in DataPort 10 SAS/SATA drive carriers and two rear-mounted on drive trays. Ideal for RAID 10 mirrored arrays with removable drives for offsite backup. All four drives connect to your host via a single Multilane cable (sold separately) using an SFF-8470 InfiniBand-style connector. Host connections supported include SFF-8470 (InfiniBand) and SFF-8088 (Mini SAS). 
Need Cabling? CRU offers end-to-end cabling solutions, including host adapter kits with 4x SATA to SFF-8470 (InfiniBand) PCI host adapter brackets and four internal SATA data cables to connect to your HBA.

Bridge & Adapter Technology - “Did You Know?”
CRU engineers developed “Bridge Technology” products to allow older PATA drives to be used in newer SATA systems and vice versa. This has helped many customers ease the transition of buying all-new hardware until they’re ready to convert, saving time and money. CRU’s built-in host bridge conversion hardware enables continued use of legacy systems with newer SATA drives, or the use of older interface PATA drives in newer SATA systems.
- Bridge Technology is available on several models
- DataPort 5+, DataPort 10, DataPort 25, DataPort 30, and Data Express DE110
- CRU also offers adapters to use 80-pin (SCA) U320 HDDs in 68-pin SCSI host applications
