The CRU RAX212-QR 1U Rackmount Enclosure offers RAID 0 and 1 functionality and supports two 3.5" SATA Hard drives. DataPort 10 Secure 128-bit with Internal Key removable drive carrier offers ultimate HDD protection with metal design, vibration resistance and government strength encryption. RAX212-QR includes a quadruple host interface with eSATA, USB 2.0 and dual FireWire 800 (backward compatible to FW400) ports. RAX products are also easy to install with included rack mount ears.

Easiest Encrypted Back-Up Solution Yet

DataPort 10 Secure 128-bit with Internal Key offers government strength 128-bit hardware-based encryption in the RAX storage system with little to no key management. The RAX212 models include two DataPort 10 Secure frame and carrier assemblies with the internal encryption keys (dongle). The internal encryption key is connected to the frames that stay mounted in the RAX 1U enclosure. This means that when the carrier is inserted into the enclosure the data is automatically accessible. However, once the carrier is removed from the RAX 1U enclosure to store off-site, the contents are completely encrypted and can only be accessed from the host frame or another DP10 Secure device and matching encryption key (dongle). If the carrier is lost or stolen, the data can not be accessed without the proper encryption key (dongle).

Easy Host Connect Cabling Options: Connect to almost any host computer via one of the four interface ports including: eSATA, USB 2.0 and dual FireWire 800 (backward to compatible to FireWire 400) ports (cables sold separately).

Configurable Alarm Settings: Configuration software allows you to control the temperature thresholds at which alarms will sound.
