CRU-DataPort™ Statement on End of Life Procedures
In keeping with accepted industry practices, CRU-DataPort periodically may elect to discontinue certain products for a variety of reasons, including:
- The product is obsoleted at the end of its natural life cycle
- Key product components are no longer being manufactured
- CRU-DataPort vendor obsolescence
- Technology obsolescence
To provide the best customer service possible, CRU-DataPort has developed a series of procedures to apply when a product must be discontinued.
As part of this process, once a product is identified for EOL, CRU will:
- Perform best efforts in notifying customers of the pending EOL status.
- Will include information on the expected “Last Buy” date.
- CRU will send notices to all customers known to CRU to have previously purchased the soon-to-be EOL product as well as registered users of the product.
- CRU will also post all products scheduled for EOL and the expected last buy date on this page.
If you have any questions or comments regarding these procedures, please do not hesitate to contact the CRU-DataPort Quality Manager.
